Abstract

Polar covalent bonding is a chemical bond formed by the unequal sharing of electronsbetween atoms with different electronegativities. The concept of bond polarity is essential forunderstanding molecular geometry, intermolecular forces, solubility, and biochemical processes.Compounds such as water, ammonia, and hydrogen chloride possess polar covalent bonds and playimportant roles in living organisms and industrial applications. The study of polar covalent bondinghelps explain the behavior of molecules in chemical reactions and the physical properties of matter
