Abstract
This study analyzes modern methods for evaluating traffic flow in urban transportation infrastructure and their effectiveness. The role of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, video analytics, and sensor data processing in determining traffic flow parameters (density, speed, and volume) is examined. The research considers the application of mathematical models and information systems to predict traffic congestion, ensure traffic safety, and optimize existing infrastructure. The results demonstrate the importance of selecting the right methods for evaluating traffic flow in increasing the capacity of transportation networks and improving the urban environment from an ecological perspective.
