Abstract

Chronic upper urinary tract obstruction triggers structural remodeling of  the ureter. Understanding the localized, segment-specific morphofunctional responses  along the ureteral tract under chronic obstructive conditions is critical for predicting  tissue damage severity, assessing surgical reversibility, and optimizing reconstructive  interventions.
