Abstract
In recent years, organosilicon compounds have been widely used in the textile and leather industries to improve the functional and protective properties of materials. Treatments based on silicon-organic compounds form a thin protective layer on the surface of fabrics and leather that provides water repellency, dust resistance, and flame retardancy.
