Abstract
This article explores the study of the diplomatic and military-tactical activities of Emir Timur, the Great Ruler of the Medieval East, by Timur scholars. The ruler's political foresight and chastity, spiritual strength, and fairness in governing the state are realistically depicted in the novel "Emir Timur" by Azerbaijani writer Yunus Oguz. According to the author, studying Timur's military and administrative policies serves to preserve the historical memory of the people, their national identity, and the importance of cultural communication between peoples.
