Abstract

The abstract highlights the pedagogical and psychological  characteristics of developing core competencies in learners during their preparation  for school education within preschool education organizations. The cognitive,  emotional-sensory, and social development stages of children are analyzed,  emphasizing the specific aspects of cognitive, social, communicative, and personal  (“Self-concept”) competencies. Furthermore, the role of knowledge, skills, abilities, and values as structural components of the competency-based approach in shaping  a child's personality is justified, along with the significance of teacher-child-parent   cooperation in facilitating successful adaptation to the school environment.
