Abstract

This article analyzes the impact of urbanization processes on the content, organizational forms, and social functions of national rituals from a socio-philosophical perspective. The expansion of urban lifestyles, population migration, shifts in labor relations, and the rapid development of the service sector have collectively led to significant transformations in the practice of organizing national rituals. The study specifically examines how collective cooperation, traditionally fostered within the mahalla community, is being re-established in modern urban settings. It also investigates the increasing commercialization of these rituals and the adaptation of national values to the evolving social environment. A key focus is the analysis of the relationship between the changes in the external forms of rituals and the enduring preservation of their spiritual and moral content. The article concludes by advancing recommendations aimed at safeguarding the positive social functions of national rituals and ensuring their appropriate development to meet the demands of contemporary conditions, thereby maintaining their relevance and cultural significance.
