Abstract

This study examines the formation of values among adolescents raised  in incomplete families, with particular attention to the socio-psychological factors that  may influence their value orientations. The study is based on Shalom Schwartz’s theory  of basic human values, which provides a framework for understanding the motivational  goals underlying adolescents’ value preferences. A mixed-methods research design was  employed, combining quantitative and qualitative approaches. The participants were  100 adolescents aged 10–17 who were raised in incomplete families.
