Abstract

This article discusses the importance of Uzbek word formation models in naming new concepts in the language, as well as in the nationalization of foreign words. In it, it is justified through examples that there are five main methods of forming words (terms) in the Uzbek language within the noun group, and it is also emphasized that the activation of the abbreviation method in the Uzbek language is the need of the hour.
