Abstract

This article explores the role of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital platforms in improving political communication with young people. In the digital age, social networks, online consultation systems, chatbots, and AI-powered analytical tools provide new opportunities for public institutions to communicate with young citizens, understand their concerns, and encourage meaningful civic participation. The article examines the benefits of digital political communication, including accessibility, interactive engagement, rapid information exchange, and personalized civic education. It also considers key challenges, such as misinformation, algorithmic bias, data privacy, unequal access to technology, and declining public trust. Particular attention is given to the importance of transparency, digital literacy, ethical AI governance, and inclusive communication strategies. The article concludes that artificial intelligence and digital platforms can strengthen dialogue between young people and public institutions when they are used responsibly, with respect for human rights and freedom of expression.
