Abstract
In the 20th century, scholars researching in the field of pedagogy primarily focused on teaching methods in organizing the educational process, placing the teacher at the center of education. However, according to 21st-century pedagogy, the student's personality is at the center of the educational process, and the crucial aspect is not how to teach, but rather the student's activity – specifically, how they learn and acquire knowledge. For instance, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), within its "Education and Skills 2030" project, has been helping various countries worldwide find answers to two comprehensive questions: What knowledge, skills, values, and competencies should today's learners possess? How can the education system effectively develop these knowledge, skills, and competencies? The reason is that in recent years, the sharp increase in information volume and the proliferation of scientific and industrial fields necessitate that teachers do not provide ready-made, standard knowledge, but rather teach students how to acquire and assimilate it, enabling them to independently organize their activities and find independent solutions in unusual situations in the future. These trends in 21st-century pedagogy urge us to focus on the problem of developing the independent preparation of future specialists, i.e., students. This article can offer solutions to the aforementioned problems.
