Abstract

This article analyzes the formation of sports terms in the Uzbek language, the stages of development and how they have changed semantically. It also discusses the process of the introduction of sports language into the national language, terms introduced from foreign languages, and nationalization efforts. During the analysis, it is also shown how the vocabulary of the Uzbek language is enriched through sports.
