Abstract

Historically, educational management has frequently borrowed its frameworks from corporate and industrial management models, prioritizing efficiency, compliance, and resource optimization. However, the core mission of any educational institution is fundamentally pedagogical: the facilitation of human learning and development. This paper explores the "pedagogical foundations of the concept of management in education," arguing that effective educational administration must be inextricably linked to the sciences of pedagogy, psychology, and didactics. By examining how learning theories (constructivism, cognitivism, humanism), developmental psychology, and andragogy inform management practices, this article redefines the educational manager not merely as an administrator, but as a "pedagogical leader." The paper outlines how pedagogical principles should dictate organizational structure, teacher evaluation, resource allocation, and institutional culture, ultimately proposing a paradigm where management serves as the scaffolding for optimal teaching and learning.
